Insects of Cloudbridge

An Inventory

Cloudbridge Nature Reserve
Costa Rica

A butterfly at Cloudbridge

This represents the beginnings of an inventory of the insects found and identified, at least to family level, at Cloudbridge.
Supplementing the list is a set of photographs, too large to include on the web page but available upon request.

The inventory has been initially compiled by Neil Rosser, and supplemented by other research volunteers at Cloudbridge.

The data are also contained in an Excel file: insect_inventory.xls

Interested in doing research at Cloudbridge?
Reseachers must bring independent funding for their projects, including travel and living expenses. Send us some information about your research qualifications, what you wish to study, and when you can come. If your project is accepted, we'll assist in finding accommodation and provide access to the reserve. We'll also publish the results of the research on the Cloudbridge website. To discuss your ideas, contact Ian & Genevieve Giddy (see the contact page).
